Sierd Eriks, B.A. (Geol.), P.Geo.

Vice-President, Exploration

In addition to providing strategic direction to UEX in his role as Vice-President, Exploration, Mr. Eriks brings over 30 years of experience to the company's ongoing exploration projects. Mr. Eriks has made a career of mineral exploration in Canada and has extensive experience in uranium exploration in the Athabasca Basin having worked for both COGEMA Resources Inc. (now AREVA Resources Canada Inc.) and Cameco Corporation, the world's largest uranium companies. Mr. Eriks is a registered professional geologist in Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Manitoba.
 

Dave Rhys, M.Sc., P.Geo.

Management Advisory Board Member, Geological Consultant

As a member of the management advisory board, Mr. Rhys lends his background in mineral exploration and mine geology evaluation to provide technical consulting and guidance to UEX. He is an experienced consulting geologist specializing in structural controls on mineral deposits and their application to exploration, mining and mine site grade control. Mr. Rhys aids in the technical evaluation and National Instrument 43-101 compliant reporting for UEX's projects. Mr. Rhys has significant experience in the Athabasca Basin and provides UEX with unique insight into the geology and structure of the region.
 

Luke van der Meer, B.Sc.

Senior Geological Consultant

Mr. van der Meer has been consulting for UEX since December 2008. He has nearly 10 years of field geology experience that spans the globe from Australia to Mongolia, before arriving in Canada. His mine projects and geological exploration include working with gold, nickel sulphide, iron, coal, lead zinc and uranium. His primary interest lies in exploration geology and his field geological experience includes drill program management and drill core logging, project evaluation, mapping, mine geology and interpretation. While at UEX he has been responsible for geological modelling and data compilation to better understand the resource prospects at UEX's project sites.
 

Steve Hasegawa, B.Sc.

Geological Consultant

Mr. Hasegawa is a graduate of Simon Fraser University where he developed an interest in hard rock geology and exploration. He has been working with UEX since 2006, primarily on the Hidden Bay Project, and has supported the development of National Instrument 43-101 compliant technical reports for that project. Mr. Hasegawa is currently completing his application for designation as a Professional Geoscientist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
 

Sean McGowan, B.Sc.

Mapping/GIS Consultant

Mr. McGowan is a graduate of the Geology program at the University of Toronto (1990) and has worked in the government and private sectors as a geologist, GIS cartographer and database manager. He has worked as a consultant for UEX since 2005 managing the GIS Database and providing mapping and software support to office staff.
 

Elena Musienko, P.Geo., Ph.D.

Geological Consultant

Mrs. Musienko has five years of experience in the uranium exploration industry and 20 years of experience performing seismic hazard assessment in Kyrgyzstan. She recently worked with the Geological Survey of Canada performing microzoning studies along the Sea to Sky Highway in British Columbia. Mrs. Musienko carries out database administration, geological interpretation and compilation of maps for UEX's projects.
 

Benita Koning, B.Sc.

Geological Consultant

Ms. Koning is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and has over 10 years of experience in Canadian uranium, gold and base-metal mineral exploration. In addition to her geological work, Benita also maintains roles as corporate land administrator and company safety officer.
 

TEAM Drilling

TEAM Drilling
TEAM Drilling LP of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, provides drilling services for surface exploration at Shea Creek and other UEX-AREVA joint-venture project sites. Formed in 2008, the company received the 2009 ABEX New Venture Award and employs a skilled team of drilling personnel. TEAM Drilling is a limited partnership with equal ownership between its senior management team and the Athabasca Basin Development Limited Partnership ("ABDLP").

ABDLP is an Athabasca and Aboriginal-owned investment company, bringing together First Nations and other communities in Fond du Lac, Black Lake, Wollaston Lake, Stony Rapids and Uranium City in northern Saskatchewan. Ownership of ABDLP is divided among: Hatchet Lake Economic Development Corporation; Black Lake Venture LP; Fond du Lac First Nation LP; Northern Hamlet of Stony Rapids; Northern Settlement of Wollaston Lake; Northern Settlement of Uranium City; Northern Settlement of Camsell Portage; and Athabasca Basin Development Corporation.

Graham Brothers Drilling

Graham Brothers Drilling
Graham Brothers Drilling Ltd. is a family-owned business operating in Saskatchewan with a team of highly experienced drillers offering exceptional performance in the field. The company was formed in 2011 and provides drilling services at the Hidden Bay Project site. Graham Brothers Drilling recently operated two drills on-site and has completed the 18,000-metre summer 2011 drilling program at the Horseshoe and Raven deposits.

Leo Graham, the founder of Graham Brothers Drilling, has had a long working relationship with UEX through his association with other drilling contractors and has extensive experience drilling in the Basin
